Day 1: Travel Day &  Departure from Houston

• Your adventure begins at Houston Airport, where you will meet your designated chaperone at the agreed time.

• Together, you will take an afternoon Lufthansa flight via Frankfurt, Germany, continuing on to Slovenia.

• Due to the time difference, you will arrive in Ljubljana around midday the following day, rested and ready to start your European journey.

Day 2 – Presidential Welcome to Europe
Begin your adventure with a warm welcome in Slovenia’s capital and a special reception at the Presidential Office:

• Arrival at the airport and private shuttle to the hotel

• Lunch and check-in to hotel rooms

• Reception with the President of Slovenia

• Rooftop gathering with non-alcoholic drinks and views of the city

• Orientation session to get everyone ready for the week ahead

• Exploring Ljubljana’s historic city center with a boat ride on the Ljubljanica River and Ljubljana Castle

Day 4:  Cultural Exchange and New Friends
Connect with Slovenian students and experience the country’s oldest town originating from Roman times:

• Breakfast at the hotel

• Departure by private shuttle to Ptuj

• Visit to a local high school for a collaborative project with Slovenian students and free time with students to make new friends

• Lunch at the school

• Exploration of Ptuj’s historic city center, castle, and cultural sites

• Return to the hotel

• Dinner at the hotel

Day 5: Alpine Adventures
Discover Slovenia’s stunning Alps, history, and natural beauty of the Soča river:

• Breakfast at the hotel

• Departure by private shuttle to the Soča Valley

• Visit to a World War I fortress and battlefield remains

• Outdoor activities in the scenic Soča Valley: Rafting on the Soča river (optional)  and  Zipline through the mountatins (optional)

• Dinner in the historic Apline city of Kobarid

• Return to the hotel​

Day 6: Natural Wonders & Coastal Charm
A full-day excursion combining caves, castles, and the seaside:

• Breakfast at the hotel

• Private shuttle to Postojna

• Guided visit of Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle

• Lunch in Postojna

• Visit to Piran’s historic city center and optional supervised swimming at the beach

• Dinner by the seaside

• Return to the hotel

• Workshop on argumentation and international relations

• Discussion with Members of Parliament

• Visit to Ljubljana Castle and cultural activities in the old town

Day 8 – Farewell Europe

• Time to say goodbye after an unforgettable adventure:

• Breakfast at the hotel

• Private shuttle transfer to the airport

• Flight home with chaperones

• Arrival in the US and pick-up by parents or legal guardians
